Recurring: Record First x / Record Last x

Don't know if it has been recommended before or how difficult it would be to set up but I'm interested in a feature for recurring recordings that would let me save only the latest x number of recordings (instead of the first x number). Currenly with recurring recordings if a number is specified the system will stop recording once that number is reached. I'd rather have the latest recordings so would like the system to delete the first and record the latest to keep the x number of most recent shows.

It already behaves the way you describe. When you set the max number of recordings to keep, it keeps the latest recordings and the older ones are deleted when new ones are start recording.

Is it possible to view what settings were used when the reoccuring recording was first setup? If you view reoccuring recordings and chose update, there is no option to alter or view this setting?

Also if I already had 4 recordings from a previous reoccuring recording and then cancelled it and setup a new reoccuring recording with keep 3 recordings set, what would it do? Just save the next three newest ones and leave the previous ones?

Its a bug. Usually when you'd hit 'update' you'd be able to see and change the number of recordings that are kept. I've fixed this for the next release.
