Pre-show / Post-show padding for manual recording

Hi ! I read that pre-show / post-show padding does not apply to manual recording.

But I think it's useful for manual recording too.

If it does not apply, I would have to manually adjust the timing for each recording and sometimes I get it wrong. In my country, we don't have EPG. And the timings are in 12 hour format. I have to mentally convert to 24 hour format and at the same time, apply a 3 min padding before and after. More problems when it crosses the hour (which is most of the time). So I get it wrong. Yes it's my fault but if the padding is applicable, I would not get it wrong.

I believe the program code for padding is already there in this wonderful software. But it's a matter to enabling it for manual recording.

So it's my deepest wish that you can enable the padding for manual recording. Thanks very much.

Another advantage of using program implemented pre/post-show padding instead of manual settings is that when there are 2 show back to back, the software will adjust automatically. For manual, there will be a conflict and I need to manually adjust the 2 record scehdule.

Another ... sometimes I forget to pad it. Then....

Really hope to see this feature implemented for manual recording.

I dont respond to all wishlist items. Lack of response doesnt indicate whether it'll be implemented or not.

Sounds like a reasonable request, but its not a high priority for me, so might take a while. Plenty of other things keeping me busy. In summary, a definite "maybe".
