Any Tips to developers for 1.08 interoprability?

Hiave you any words of wisdom to part onto the development/skinning community members on what needs to change to get plugins working (for the ones that have failed) and any Best code of practises to get plugins working as native 1.0.x plugins and not legacy.

Trust me, plugin development is easier in 1.x.

I can agree with this as well!! Life is quite a bit easier for 80% of plugins
