GBPVR will not allow you to have duplicate channels.

Yes, thanks, I'll give that a try. I see that I have two channel 96's in my lineup.

[EDIT 1]

Yes, removing the extra channel 96 fixed the blank TV Guide problem. Then I also had to apply the UTC offset fix pointed out here to resolve the one hour off problem that became apparent once the TV Guide was filled in.

All is now well on my test machine. Thanks.

[EDIT 2]

Now that I've got this working on my test machine, what do I need to transfer to my working machine? Do I need to install Go4TV on it?

Thanks.

Go4TV must be installed on the machine that will run the app. If you have additional machines, you can just copy the xml output.

Thanks for the hard work on this, your app is working fine for me.

I do have a little lineup problem as it seems that Yahoo's channel listings for my Directv Atlanta lineup does not include the local channels. Sad

Its strange cause when you select the lineup they are listed and checked, but then after downloading listings either with Go Tv or with this download app they are not there. I guess I will have to manually create them in GBPVR so I can select the channels and do without the listings for them.

Zap2It completely crapped out on me this weekend and I was forced to make the change.

That's a bum deal but unfortunately, if the database doesn't have the listings, they won't show up in the output from my app.

I was thinking I might check the other Yahoo listings for my area to see if the local channels are there and maybe set them up as a second lineup. I don't really understand how second lineups work in GBPVR though as I have never tried this.

I believe it does have listings for many US locations.

I having some trouble getting my tv guide times correct. No matter what I've done, I'm still off by 1 hour (early). I'm in central daylight time which I believe is -5 hours from UTC. When I run the offset command, do I use -5000? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I have a feeling it's very simple and will make me feel very stupid as well.

So I lied about my zip code, used one about 25 miles south of me, and was able to get the local listings included. Hopefully that will take care of it then.

I simply used offset=+0000 as suggested here. That fixed my one hour early problem.
