Great release and very worth the wait. And I was pleasantly surprised to find the new interface runs good, if not better, than the interface in 99.12.

When I read your release notes, I was expecting to find that 99.12 was going to be my final version on my limited hardware. But wow! The new version runs fine on my P3, 860 mhz with 512 mb ram!
Great.

BTW, what video card do you have?

This is discussed in a few threads. Plugins should still function, but may need to be in different subdirectory for GBPVR.exe vs PVRX2.exe (so you may need to copy to both places to use in both).

What a nice surprise to see that new version is available Smile.

While the new version is downloading, I thought I'd come here and say thanks for your work and congrats for passing v1.

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

and the driver version is either 71.89 or 93.71

I cant tell which, but the device manager says:

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
Date: 10/22/2006
Version: 6.14.10.9371

Thanks again!

I start pvrx2.exe from remote console!
when i start direct from desktop, ist work fine

Georg

Upgrade went fine but then I was hitting the above issue as I run GBPVR on my server which has no accessible console so access is via RDP (VNC is slow and has a history of instability).

Not a major problem as I use Web/MVP to watch and record but it would be nice to see interface on the server - is there any way of getting PVRX2 to run on RDP session?

Many thanks for the continued improvements sub.

It does work with Remote Desktop if the HTPC is running Vista. I dont think you'll be able to get to work with earlier versions of Windows via Remote Desktop due to the way these work with Direct3D and VMR9.

What you're asking for can easily be done with a minor skin change to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin2\blue\TV Guide\skin.xml though.

Hi Sub

Is there any chance that you could post an skin.xml to enable channel icon only. Having both the icon AND the channel name takes up almost 20% of the tv guide space.

Otherwise the update seems to have gone fine so my sincere thanks for another great release. (i've yet to play with it properly as I'm upgrading over vnc and need to see what it looks like on the TV itself)

Is QAM support available for the AVerMedia M780 in this new release?
