does it work in the wintv2000 app?

seriously, a little more detail would be nice... what did you do??
did you set up channels?
did you set up the EPG?
how are you tuning?
what input are you using on the card?

I have nothing installed but a fress copy of GBPVR

I setup under direct recording and to external tuner Antenna

I can record and playback with no issues its just on live tv

I have not set an EPG at all and no changer at present. I added the one channel manually and that is it.

Im using the normal arial input on the card. The TV Tuner program also can see the channel.

it may be an issue related to not having a EPG, but I dont think so...
are you set to use live preview mode? or timeshift mode?

I am curious, how exactly do you have it hooked up?? how are you changing channels? are you trying to plug it in to a VCR or something? maybe a little walk through of how you have it set up would help me.

something like: the cable comes from the antenna, goes into my VCR, I change channels on my VCR using its remote, the cable goes from the VCR to the PVR150, the PVR150 has a single channel which has been manually added (channel 3).

Well im getting somewhere i turned on the live preview section (I missed this bit) and now I get a pic but pausing is not working....

As asked.

I have a Sky box (Not plus) and the Antenna Out is going in to the Anntena In on my PVR150
I ran the TV Tuner Program and established Channel 68 is the frequency
I opened the Config and under capture card set it to Direct Recording.
Under settings i have set up as the PVR150MCE and as capture #1 and UK
Fixed channel/External Tuner under antenna
The constant channel i have tried as 0 and 68
I added a chennel called sky under number 68 and under the channel tab i have also added an 68
I now have turned on Live preview and set the deinterlasing to none

What now happens is if i hit pause it looks to start but on play returns to the menu.....

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

ok so it seems there is a problem with timeshift mode for you, which may or may not be related to the way you have things set up. the best thing to do is what sub says, reproduce the issue then zip the logs (you can just zip the entire 'logs' directory) and attach it to a post.

I would personally suggest that you set up a program guide, and have your HTPC change channels on the skybox. hmm, you have the MCE edition of the 150, so I dont think you have an IR blaster Sad I am not sure how you would change channels then...

anyways setting up the EPG would allow you to utilize all of the features of GB-PVR. its completely a personal choice, but I am not sure why you wouldn't want toSmile

Sorry for no reply. Another project got in the way..... Typical....

I will try to get the logs up soon. as to using my HTPC to change channel im struggling to get the IR blaster to do it. It seems to send a signal to the blaster but nothing happens. I have the MCE 150 and the remote with irblaster.

As to setting up the EPG i need to read up on how to download them. so i have the information.

As your in the UK use http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/ to grab the epg listings for most sky channels. Then once you have it set up with the guide on wiki http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...elMappings
Finally once that is working prepare a learning experience with hip guide to get your ir blaster working see http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tips/...rdware.HIP
