OK I installed the new version as per the instructions, first I backed up my Config.xml, BDA.ini and Ggbpvr.db3.

Then I uninstalled the previos version and deletd the Directory.

Ran a Registry cleaning utility just to make sure all was clean.

Installed C++ and then 1.008.

copy back my Config.xml, BDA.ini and Ggbpvr.db3.

and well.. I load GB-PVR and I got the old menus still but it says it version 1.008?

was there some I missed, did copying back those backup files the reason?
TIA

You werent supposed to uninstall the old version, or copy the gbpvr.db3/config.xml on top of the 1.0.8 version.

Instead you were just supposed to take a backup of those files in case you had any problems, then run the 1.0.8 installer and it would automatically keep your old setting and update you system to the new version.

I recommend uninstalling, deleting the GBPVR directory, reinstalling your previous version (0.99.12?), then restoring your gbpvr.db3/config.xml files, then upgrade to 1.0.8 again.

Also, you might want to try running PVRX2.exe rather than GBPVR.exe to get the new menus Smile

Its also worth remembering that as a HDHomeRun owner you'll need to redo your changes to bda.ini after the upgrade.
