I'm a new user of this SW and I have some questions that I hope someone can answer!?
I have 2 cards installed on my HTPC (Hauppauge 350 and Technisat Airstar DVB-T card). Is there only support for the cards in the drop menu in the config (Capture Source)? Or is it possible to add another card like Technisat?
Just now I'm using Mythtv (linux) but I want to swap to a SW running under windows instead because I'm not a Linux specialist :).
Just now I share my channels with 2 other guys (cardsharing). Is there any support for cardsharing in GBPVR?

Thanks
Klondyke

You could add support for the Technisat Airstar DVB-T card if it has BDA drivers. You might need to check the manufacturers web site to see if these are available.

Was this ever resolved? The software does not reconize my card even with BDA drivers installed.

You will have to tell gbpvr this card exists in bda.ini... lots of info on this in the forums and the wiki... you can start here as an example:

It would be great to get the card added to the official bda.ini file so that it is supported without each new user trying to figure it out each time.
Perhaps the people who have it working could send the info to "sub" and he could support it. I guess I am more of a user than a developer.
I know others have succeeded and there is a BDA driver available, but I gave up .
Just recently I upgraded to the latest release and it supported the HVR-1600 internally so I went out and bought that card and installed it and the beta driver for QAM and it is working well (driver stutters the picture but that is another thread).
It would be nice if the AirStar HD5000 was also supported the same way.

Thanks,
James

If someone posts the bda.ini section, I'll certainly add it.
