button 3 = 30% of video

Hi
when using MVP Hauppauge original program is it possible to press a digit e.g. 3 go get 30% into the video or 6 for 60%. Would that be possible i GB-PVR?

No, that's not the way it works with GB-PVR. You can skip forward a number of minutes by typing a number then pressing the skip forward key.

I have been working with transcoding divx/xvid back to mpeg. Have noticed that when I try to skip even backwards though the transcoded mpeg it restarts from the beginning again. Is this because the mpeg header is messed up? If not any ideas?
