This may be answered in this thread, but can I install 1.08 into a different folder and keep 0.99.12 installed?

I'd like to be able to test 1.08 before committing and getting rid of my 0.99.12 setup which is working well.

Nope - no can do. You can only have one version of GB-PVR installed on a machine.

Hi there

Just wanted to say thank you for the new version. It installed painlessly, and runs very nicely, even on my archaic Geforce4 mx420. I'm using it as my main frontend without any serious problems. Looking forward to the plugins being updated, and a couple of features being restored (program search being the main one!).

You can do a program search by pressing guide twice

(The first press will take you into the listings screen, press it again and it brings up the search guide option)

Or F1 I think on the keyboard twice

attempted to get all epg data correct and bda recording plugin used but no picture is shown nor any info in guide which freezes the app as the colors fade on the text then nothing. GBpvr just says NO CHANNELS setup but they are. Was hoping for the qam thing with this but guess not. nice looking though.

Post the question in the support forum along with the logs and I'll take a look.

Has the fast forward and rewind function been restored? The last time I checked I could skip forward and backward, but not fast forward or rewind.

Hadn't upgraded gbpvr for a while and was having problems getting the Community Screen skin working so decided to try 1.08 (somewhat apprehensively given my modest Athlon 2000 and Nvideo N6200 card). But it installed fine and works just great. The Community Screen (MCE skin) works fine, I like the way the Photos work and the Vista like expanding and contracting windows.
