Oh dear - turned them all off, rebooted and the same problem.I copied the database and config to my messing about machine and get the same problem on both machines - both are similarly configured though with split partitions.
I'll try it on another client PC in the garage tomorrow that has everything on the C: drive. (ISTR it is running media edition though). Martin

Martin, thanks... I don't know what is the difference between how you use your computers and how I use mine, and it might not even be that. Just I can't think of what else... It's not like you have security preventing programs from working right

Where can I get this utility? It is not on the wiki page of either ZTools or ZSchedFix.

ZSchedFix was the only utility that I had the source for, but it was a very half a$$ed attempt, and I was always planning on revisiting it. It's worked for me several times, and I'm happy to pass it on to you as it is.
