Hi Sub,
I just upgraded to Version 1.0.8 and its working great. My old postprocessing.bat file is operating correctly without any mods. I'm calling "comskip" followed by "rename recordings" and both utilities work correctly. I wanted to add a note to the wiki, but I can't log in to update the compatibility list. Thanks for all your work, emr

In what way is this considered a Beta? It works almost flawlesly!
The things that I miss i probably things that was left out... Like changing subs with the yellow button or the presentation of the currently played song. I like the added possibility to edit which dvd-images that can be used. By the way; Wich is the best program to use for dvd-menus in GB-pvr?? Both PowerDVD and intervideo has some issues that results in DVDs that isn't playable in gbpvr. I even have had problems with original dvds, and ended up using VLC-player (would be nice if I could use VLC as DVD-navigator)

Can you help explain how we scan for clear QAM channels with this release?

Jakxter Wrote:Can you help explain how we scan for clear QAM channels with this release? The general steps are... create a capture source, set the card type to the "HVR1600 (QAM)" option, set the EPG source to zap2it and enter you zap2it account details, hit the 'update epg' button to pull in your channel list, then hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button. It'll now search for any digital channels found. At the end of this process, you need to click on the 'tuning request' column of each channel you want to keep, and map it to a channel found during that scan. Before doing this though, you'll most likely need to apply the HVR1600 patch from sticky 'v1.0.8 survival guide' thread: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=4 If you have any problems getting it going, post a question in the support forum rather than replying here.

Do you have to uninstall the previous version of GPVR before installing version 1.0.8?? The reason I ask is that when I installed the new version it came up with an error at the end and asked if I wanted to send an error report to microsoft. I then tried reapairing the install and this seemed to work expcept I was unable to record anything. Also the previous version was still present although when I opened it, it also would not record. A complete disaster! I eventually uninstalled the new version and reinstalled v 09912.
