International Cinema Listings plugin version 5.0 (for PVRX2)

First of all a big big thank to you McBainUK for adding Switzerland to your project.

I have run a few quick tests today and I am impressed by your work. Of course the customer is never happy

I have noticed the following:

- if you have 2 cinemas entered only one program is listed
- umlaut (like ö ä ü é à è) are not correctly displayed
- some show get doubled listed
- even worse if you click on the one with XML code in it gbpvr abends

I have attached two file which should give you an idea of the problems I am seeing here.

Sorry I don't understand the question :confused:

If you can post your cinema ID(s) I can try it out here and try to fix.

If you mean the Harry Potter they have 2 different names, albiet only due to language, not much I can do about that, sorry.

Thanks a lot for your quick response.

Forget the first questions ... problem seems to be gone.

For the umlaut which show up as square please see my configuration in attached picture.

My system still crashes e.g. when clicking on 2nd showing for Harry Potter (the one in German) for theatre_id 612.

It's probably a small problem in the parsing of the webpage. Can you zip and attach the 3 xml files in the gbpvr/plugins/internationalcinemalistings/ folder and I will work through them.

funny thing as well under "by film" are fewer title listed then when going "by cinema"

Looking at those XMLs its a deffinate scraping issue - they may have changed something on the website. Will work on a update/fix over the weekend.

hey, looks great with the new UI, but the films dont get sorted, it looks like you just leave them in the order that you found them on the website, the append any new ones. it would be really nice if you sorted the films.

First time using this plugin, so might not be doing this right. I installed it and it updated but under "By Cimema", 2 theaters are listed but no films inder either. Similar for "By Film". Films are listed, to it says "No showings".

I have exactly the same problem all I care about is the trailers though and they d/l fine and I didn't bother configuring it.

Perhaps coincidentally we live in the same city, but my theater is Silver City.

I just wished they would list the Barrhaven Odeon.
