On two machines now I ran both install files, but when I went to open config or either .exe file, I get:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) Click Ok to terminate the application.

Help!

And thanks!

Did you remember to install http://www.gbpvr.com/vcredist_x86.zip, as described in the release announcement at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=27623

Yes, I installed that first on both machines. I didnt extract it before I executed, but it seemed to run fine out of the compressed folder.

Does it produce any files in the log directories when you try to run it?

There should be a c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs directory.

Alternatively, is there any message added to the Windows Event Viewer when you try to run any of the executables?

I googled the error, will try and install .Net

(Dummy should have googled before posting....) LOL

Update in a min...

Edit - Success! Thats the ticket, it figures that a missing optional windows update would cause problems....

Thanks for the quick response!
