I have had problems in the past with my TV guide data when I moved from one type of EPG information to another, or when I moved from one provider to another. What seems to work (always) for me is to (from the config) completely empty the EPG information and manually delete all the channels in the lineup. Then, delete the capture source and re-add it with the new EPG settings. Then, an update EPG for me has always straightened out my channel listings as well as my TV guide listings.

I know the above seems sort of drastic, and there are probably shortcuts, but it has always worked for me in the past and it's not really that hard. I don't know if this will help in your case, but I thought I would share (in case it's not a problem with YahooXMLTv).

Cheers! Smile

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I emptied the EPG. Then removed all channels. Then removed the capture source with reboots of the config program after each change. Still not working....

eoren1, you have two channel 79s in your xml file, CSPAN2 and MASN2. Disable one in the Yahoo app and run the yahooxmltv app again then go into gbpvr's config and click "Update EPG" in the recording source.

Thanks for the quick turnaround. Checked in Yahoo TV and you are right that there are two channel 79s there. However, the xml plugin correctly shows these two particular channels correctly as 79 and 80.
I tried finding a way to remove channel 79 from Yahoo Go TV including running the TV wizards but I cannot seem to find any way to change the lineup/remove a particular channel. Searched through the Y Go TV message boards as well without finding a solution. I looked through some of the xml files for that program but did not find any where I could just delete one of those two channels. Anyone know how to fix this newest problem?
Thanks for everything.
E

EDIT: Never mind. Ended Y TV process and then able to delete current listings. On adding new, removed Ch. 79. Redownloaded listings in Y TV. Ran XMLTV. Updated EPG. Listing and search now work! Thank you!!!

Well since I went to the trouble of doing all this before I saw your edit, I'll post it anyway. :p Someone else may need it.

Run the Y! TV Setup Wizard
Choose "Configure TV Listings and Channels"
Choose "Delete this lineup"
Confirm the deletion
Create a lineup "Using Yahoo! Go for TV listings"
Enter ZipCode.
Select your Lineup.
Uncheck one of the problem channels.
Exit with "I don't want to make any changes"
Run YahooXMLTv (If you downloaded the listings in the wizard, you can use the "nodownload" option).

Whurston: Thanks again for your time and help. Greatly appreciated. Now I can go back to using gbpvr. My 20 month old thanks you for each and every episode of Sesame Street that he gets to watch because of this Big Grin.

If you had said Barney, I might have had to pull the plug on this project. Big Grin

Hey whurlston2, does this work w/HDHR? When I try to set a lineup in Yahootogo I can't get there cuz it says I don't have a supported tuner card... Sad

EDIT: Just looked at Post #2 and maybe there's an answer in there, unless you have an easier path?

I could not get Go for TV to recognize the HDHR, but if you use the alternate method in post #2 you should be able to set up your listings.

Well, the method works but there are not OTA channels listed among the available providers!!! Arghhh!

I don't get it as I can otherwise get Yahoo to show local digital channels!!??!

OTA is not part of their agreement with TMS for Go for TV. The localized D* lineups should include your OTA channels. Just disable the other channels in the wizard.
