hvr1600 and mvp trouble no sound

im unable to get sound when i play video recorded from hvr1600 on mvp i tried cyberlink, intervideo, ati, dvr-ms and ts mux. everything leaves the audio stream as ac3 i tried installing ac3filter but that knocked out the video too. i tried to use ts mux and added <MVPFFmpegTranscodeTS> using svcd and also tried <MvpTranscodeAllVideo> set to true which neither worked. how can i get the ac stream to something playable on the mvp ? i use a crossover cable to mvp so using mvpmc dongle isnt possible.

I've been told mvpmc loads over a crossover cable.

ok thanks are there any other solutions? i will give that a try but will mvpmc play audio out of the rca jacks or only the spdif i use a cable modulator to put mvp on all tv's in the house but it only supports analog

mvpmc will downmix to stereo if passthru isn't enabled. Sorry I don't run any ac3filter so I have no idea how these work with the various mux solutions.
