Sigh... Plextor TV402U Please, Please help

Okay, I know everyone thinks this hardware is crap and at this point I almost agree. The problem is both my machines are low profile, so capture cards aren't an option; even if they were, I don't have any available slots. Also, I like that I can hook the TV402U to any machine. Anyway, The problem I'm have is changing channels, it doesn't work. If I change the channel it just goes into a continuous loop until I exit Live TV and then go back in; after that it will be on the new channel. If I change the option for preview mode it works. I know others have had this issue and supposedly got it working; however, after following their steps and many others I have not had any success. I haven't even fully used gbpvr and already I love it. I will glady make a donation if I can just get this to work.

There are some decent external devices like the Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2.

I dont for sure if it'll fix it, but you could try this patch if you havnt already: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=9

If it doesnt help, post the logs again, bug with the logging level set to 'debug'.

Well... I changed the log settings and tried the patch, still no success.

Sorry, I'm not sure what to suggest. There is no sign of any obvious errors in the logs.

I'm just guessing but seems like if there were a way to add a delay in between changing changing channels that maybe???? It wouldn't be very desirable but I would be willing to put up with it if it worked.

You're in timeshift mode, so you can add a delay by tweaking the live tv pre-play delay setting in the config app.

Well I put it as high as it go and no luck I appreciate your time I guess I'll be returning the Plextor and getting the USB device you mentioned.
