well it works fine on machine with card in it, but not on my other machine without one..
[tho the MCE d/ler does fine with it]
will have to see if i can't find what's missing..as i didn't import all the reg entries, just the ones i thought relevant..[hey,they were fine for MCE]

Try exporting the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings

Then copy your entire Application Data\Microsoft\ehome directory

offset will not affect channel numbers, only the timezone. GB-PVR should be adding the channels in the order they are output since I'm using channel numbers for the ID. I add the channel number according to the channel number.

Unfortunately, I'm programming blind as far as Canadian lineups are concerned. MCE will not allow me to download a Canadian lineup. If someone could zip and upload their Application Data\Microsoft\ehome\EPG directory with a configured database and xml file in it, it would be very helpful. It will be big so you will need to have someplace to which to upload it.

I've been thinking of doing that to ZProcess. I don't want to blame the demise of my relationship on ZProcess. I would rather blame my relationship for the demise of ZProcess...

Whurlston, when you get time, it would be good if you could make your software portable. That meaning, that no extra files need be added into the default C:\windows\ehome directory and your software could run out of it's own folder...

If for example you would be able to unzip your files into a different folder eg. C:\EPG and then have the software reference the registry to know where windows\ehome was (could be a different drive)...

The app could reference the MCE data but build the xml into the C:\EPG directory. A person could also then enhance the xml, and then GB-PVR would reference the finished XML.

The one folder thing would make for an easier Install as well as Transport and Reinstall (from one computer to another)

That might be all handled with the GUI

Here's the UpdateEPG.bat I use. It's in the gbpvr folder. It's designed for MCE but a couple of changes would make it work with the Vista Utilities.

zehd, what skin are you using to display all these extra info on the tv guide. Are you using pvrx2?

I'm still a noob I guess. Although I have almost tripled my post count since the Zap2It announcement.
