So I think I have this all set up correctly. I can select a channel and watch a show, however, I dont get any show information so the guide is rather worthless. All I see for every channel (even though in my xml file there is show detail and I believe I dont have any duplicate channels) is 'no show details'.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Oddly enough it seems to be working now...not sure why though.

Whurlston, thanks for this great solution. I was using zap2it, so this is saving my butt as well. I was just curious how most people are calling the exe each night? My first thought was Windows Scheduler, but if there is a way to kick it off when the update to GBPVR happens each night, I thought that would be ideal. Is this possible?

I created the file, UpdateEPG.bat in the GBPVR directory. And placed the following line in it: "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\YahooGo4TV\YahooXMLTv.exe" name=1 "dir=C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr" > logfile.txt Note, your paths may be different.

whurlston, nice application.
My subscription to Zap2It expires in a few days and there is no option for me to renew so I had to decide (for now) how I was going to address my EPG needs. I had developed a TitanTv import solution but the whole UUID thing is just too precarious to deal with. However, I am continuing to support the TitanTv remote Schedule service that allows a TitanTv user to initiate a recording on their GBPVR PC from the TitantTv web site. I was able to setup Go for Tv very easily and then run your utility. Setting this up in the updateepg.bat has worked flawlessly.

Cool, thanks I'll give this a try. So gbpvr will pick up that the updateEPG.bat exists and will run it?

None of the Zap2it alternatives to-date seem to be able to deal with scheduling all sub-channels in ATSC (OTA) channels... :o

I must be missing something. When my EPG update ran last night it wiped out my guide except for shows I have on recurring recording. I setup my tuners with XMLTV as the source and saved the path to the xml file is, but it's almost like it didn't find the file.

Can you zip and attach your gbpvr\logs directory? The logs should say what the problem was with the import.
