On the lower config there's a button for 'OS Detection Beta'

Just wondering whether you get true or false for: "Vista (Higher)"
When I try this I get MCE 2005 False, Vista True and Vista (Higher) False.

I added resumes so that the GUI would complete. From both of you: could I have the log please?

on a fresh install, this is my log (when I pretend to be Vista)

What you can see is when the file is false, it gets copied and then tried again. it should be true. Maybe you can manually copy the files that should be in corretc locations, and we'll see which one is having trouble. Maybe Windows ehome is protected and I can't copy files into that folder programatically...

My log looks ok but looking at the DOS window, the update craps out at 25% each time. Stupid question---where should the xmltv file be found when completed? If one is made, I see it nowhere.
Log enclosed.

Try 0.1.10 I'm very sure I found the bug....

Anyway. The download tells MCE/Vista to download into it's own propriatory db.

If you check the Debug Check box, the incidental batch files will all have pauses in them and you can see what's happening...

After that, the Exporter exports the MCE data into a file based on the HeadEnd number... Mine is 008100-.xml in the gui directory...

If it craps out, copy the commandline that is generated in the batch file and compare it to the one that works...

Don't spend too much time on the pathing issue zehd. I have a fix for it. I need to rebuild my 05 machine before I can compile and test it though. I seriously corrupted Media Center by trying to switch between USA and Canada listings. It will no longer recognize ANY tuner connected to it.

OK, I look forward to the new build.
When running 1.10, I don't get the start up errors and things look smooth until the download which again, craps out at 25%.
Again, where is the xml file supposed to be dropped? I'm interested in seeing if at least 25% of the file is completed. The GUI says everything is completed after I click the Vista error 'close' button yet it does not appear that it's completed properly.
