From tempdownloader.bat F:\EPG\MCE2XML_GUI\VistaEpgDownloader.exe" LA17504-
In my ehome folder, I have the VistaEPG2xlmtlv.exe and MCEPG2Xmltv.exe files and running them works. As soon as I try your GUI, it stops working again until I again get the latest guide data in MCE.
If, after I run a guide update, run the VistaEPG2xmltv.exe file manually in the GUI folder, I get a good xml file.
I'm starting to get confused and think I need a beer break!
Don't be confused! The reason you are having trouble is the Scheduling Service is getting shutdown at the end of trying with the GUI. Just before you try any step, make sure the service is running... It's like that because the GUI isn't getting all the way through...
BTW how do you manually cause the MCE to download the listings? With whurlstons donwloader?
Anyway, show me the command lines that you use for the download and export, including quotes and stuff... The ones that you have in a batch file or whatever...
