Could someone zip & post an MCE xmltv output file for me?
Even a couple days of data would be fine, I just want to run it through I-xmltv to see if the version I'm working on will work with both the Y! and MCE grabbers.

For what it's worth: I've been using your I-XMLTV 1.3c with the XML output no problem.

I had to cut some stuff out of the batch file that was grabbing the Za2it stuff...

The field format appears to exactly match what the wiki version expects, and as zehd said it should work just fine with a modified UpdateEPG.bat. Without actually seeing the MCE file I assumed it would have the same field names as the Y! grabber and just couldn’t figure out how zehd had it working! lol
I’ll give the file a through workout this evening but at first glance it looks perfect for the wiki version.

Hmm.. What fields are different between the Y! and the MCE grabbers? Or do you mean the order of them?

This is how I got it working....

This batch file is called after all the rest of the conversion is complete...

Note the %1. That's so I could pass the HeadEnd.xml....

At the end the final file will still be the Headend.xml...

Yes. If you use the GUI, it will have to be integrated...

Currently, it does call the include and exclude files with the statements whurlston posted.

I think I'll work the specifics like {HeadEnd}-include.txt and {HeadEnd}-exclude.txt

I'll need some time.

No problem, DO NOT WORK ON IT JUST FOR ME. I just am adding a "nice to have" feature for others that want closer to a plug and play type of an option. It is just one of those things that could make it a little cleaner. I can always go the batch file route, but your GUI makes everything else soooo easy.

I found a little issue that could eventually use some help. I am configured for 2 sources, my cable and sat. The cable listings are from channel 2-77 (of which I do not what to exclude any from). The sat is from 0-~800 (of which I only want a few channels, but not in the 2-77 range). If I use the include file with channels 2-77 & 100-150, then I get channels 2-77 on the cable listing, but I also get channels 2-77 on the sat listing (along with the 100-150 channels). Is there an easy way to set up separate include/exclude for each headend ID? That way I will only send gbpvr the info I need, and not have to exclude it at the tuner config.

The newest version on the wiki will use these files...

{HEADEND}include.txt and {HEADEND}exclude.txt

There are no spaces or dividers... An example would be my own

008100-include.txt or 0008999Xexclude.txt

(the dash is part of my HeadEnd, NOT a divider...)

The GUI is set that if there is no [headend]include.txt or [headend]exclude.txt it will fall back to include.txt or exclude.txt which would effect all lineups
