the regions are active and clickable, but highlighting doesn't move and keys aren't useable..

i'm working on figuring out why..so far the spumux just isn't working right..

adddvdntsc.cmd should have little or no effect on menus.

I tried a ntsc menu on my software player (WinDVD) and it is OK.

Problems might arise if button coordinates overlap. Also, button names in menu#.xml and config.xml should match.

I'm having a bit of trouble installing this.

Following the readme.txt

Quote:Instalation:

Copy everything in the gbpvr directory preserving layout of the directories. Run config.exe to configure the temporary directory and the DVD drive used for burning.

i extracted the zip to myGBPVR directory D:\GBPVR in my case. Which gives me a D:\GBPVR\BurnDVD folder with other inside this.

But nothing is showing up under plugins on config.exe sorry for being dumb but don't see how else to read your instruction.

By the way using GBPVR 1.08.

Thanks in advance.

just extract the gbpvr dir within the zip to the gbpvr dir...
then you should have a burndvd dir inside of gbpvr\third party\
and the plugins will be in proper places..
[he included the source so you unzipped all of it..]

Thanks pBS,

Installed now. I burnt my first disc and all was pretty smooth in GBPVR. Just two issues.

1. there was no confirmation that the disc had finished burning.

2. the disc was out of sync. the audio was 1/2 a sec behind the video. I did switch back to watching T.V while the disc was being burnt so i don't know if that has affected the operation. i will try again but wondered if anyone else has experienced the same. (tried playing in WMP and got the same out of sync)

Should be great utility if i can get good results.

Oh BTW i'm using a ASUS Lightscribe DVD-RW SATA drive.

Thanks

Sorry, I am still figuring out how to do it without blocking GB-PVR.

Watching TV should have no effect since DVD building runs in a separate process.
Is it NTSC or PAL? NTSC was not tested at all with respect to this issue.
It seems that different capture cards produce slightly different mpg streams. Try to replace '....gbpvr\Third Party\BurnDVD\adddvd*.cmd' files with these [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND], suggested by pBS.

How did the NTSC burning turn out? I was waiting to see if there was going to be a collaboration with Pbs but I haven't heard anything for a while.

At the moment nothing is going on. Current version seems to work for PAL. I do not know about NTSC. One user reported a problem with audio/video synchronization. I do not know if it was NTSC and whether he was able to resolve it.

If anybody has a reliable of adddvdntsc.cmd I suggest that he/she posts it to the forum so other NTSC users can benefit from it.

I burnt one DVD today for NTSC. It worked fine. I used the dvd burn commands from pBs.

did the menu highlighting work properly?
like using up/dn arrows, does it move?
clicking with the mouse worked, so the hot -areas were working for me, but the highlight mask wasn't right or something...

After this post I did some more work on the plugin. At first I hesitated because pvrx2 is not working with my NVidia card and I did not want to spend more time programming the old interface.

I added possibility to trim beginnings and ends of titles. I also found out how to force ffmpeg to introduce NAV packets (-genpts option) so adddvd???.cmd is greatly simplified as pBS suggested.

I have just uploaded a new version(alpha) to wiki.
