Well, duh I didn't see that at all! :o

OK I re-scan and this time it finds Austin digitals, but it appears that the resulting xml file only shows Std. Def channel programs of PBS on 22-2, not the HD stuff on 22-1. The xml shows only "22" and it's grabbing the 22-2 schedule as best as I can tell.

Must be something funky about the FCC database cuz as I said Yahoo knows about all the sub-channels. Unfortunately I can't use your tool Joe unless there's a fix/workaround for this somewhere.

I think your going to be a schedulesdirect.org customer. MCE doesn't seem to do subchannels either....or maybe it does....I just ran across a post that says they can manually be added.....man I'm burning the hours getting the zap2it replacement going!

laserfan,

Do you want me to remove your email address from the notification database?

jdonth, it looks like you removed the <display-name>channelnumber</display-name>
tag in the latest version. Could it be added again?

also, it looks like the program doesn't read the
[General]
Analog=0

setting into the checkbox state when it loads.

otherwise, it see it does mpaa ratings now, great!
thx.

Not having sub channel listings seems common with MCE and Yahoo. Read several posts on other forums.

One thing you may be able to do is use the other yahoo go for tv app and use a cable line up. You would then be able to map using GBPVR?

It looks like yahoo is developing a canadian listings source.
http://ca.tv.yahoo.com/listings
currently not all the providers for satellite and OTA are there, but cable seems to be working. maybe in the future this could be expanded to include canadian listings too!?

This will most likely work. This is how I fixed my EPG program. I'm current analyzing this to see if I can handle this inside my program so we can all use just one.

That yahoo listing has been around for a long time but its not part of Yahoo Go so I doubt the API will work. there's also the TMS based

http://www.canada.com/topics/entertainme...sults.aspx

which is probably easier to scrape.

Hi Joe,

I tried using this program, however it always times out saying that the FCC servers are unavailable. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?

Thanks,

This is the first I have heard of this. Anyone else having a problem?

What version of the software are you using?
Are you accessing from the USA?
Have you tried it from a different computer/Internet connection?
