Hooookay...
Just wanted to post that I installed McAfee today--I just now got it removed from my machine. It locked me up like crazy; has anyone else had this happen with McAfee?

[Seriously--6 seconds after boot up, my computer froze.]

McAfee has been (in)famous for doing this for at least 15 years.
It simply won't work on some setups.

I agree with reboot. Norton is the devil too, both do way more harm than good.

For virus scan go with nod32.
