Tried out the 10016 code for this. Doesn't seem to save anything in the guide. Logs show scanning OK. Hoped for ITV1 but when nothing new was picked up, I used 'Empty EPG' and ran 'Update EPG' from Config. Result was nothing at all. Please find attached logs etc.
P.S. I am using DVR-MS mux so I am collecting gbepg-T... files that are not deleted after scan.

Thats a bummer - the guys that tested it found it very successful.

Can you click the Update EPG button in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log?

sorry, these logs were from a second go on the daily timer (just to see if it was different). Now I've fallen back to 108 so it will take a few moments to reproduce.

Ah, I think I see what is happening for you.

Your channels were setup a very long time ago. Some time after that, but still a long time ago, I started collecting slightly more information during a channel scan. Your channels are missing this extra info (ONID, NID, TSID), so it is unable match up the listings to the channels using the new DVB EPG reading scheme in 1.0.16.

You might need to scan and remap your channels to correct this.

sub - just to confirm I've run two DVB EPG updates with 1.0.16 with the DVR-MS option selected. I got solid results for the next 7 days for all channels in both cases.

Cheers,
Brian

Sorry about that.
So, apart from picking up ITV2+1 which appears to provoke a different problem (see Config.exe-1.log), I can see that the scan is now doing something different. But still no 'TV Guide' and still gpeg-T...dvr-ms files left undeleted.
logs attached.

Do you want the good news or the bad news first? DVB EPG is now working, I did it by uninstalling and deleting everything and starting again. I now have a gbpvr.db3 file instead of a mdb file (and a lot of painful configuring to do).

P.S. I've still got undeleted gbepg-.dvr-ms files.

Ok, glad you got it sorted.

I'll look into the .dvr-ms files hanging around.
