Quote:I also notice it is reading the TV shape incorrectly from the config.xml file it says 4:3 but I have it set to 16:9, confirmed by checking the config.xml file.
Did you edit the file manually rather than using the config app? The only accepted settings are "4x3" or "16x9". It will not understand "16:9".

It got no listings from your xmltv file. Zip and attach the file and I'll tell you whats wrong with the file.

no whats happening if you ever watch the grabber run is it fails to complete as the data from sky stops responding so you are only getting half the data you need plus if it stops half way through when sky stops responding you normally lose any other data you have downloaded at that point aswell
i would say you never had enough data in the first place
check the size of the file you download its normally about 35k per channel/5days depends on the channel though i dont think pvrx2 has anything to do with why your channels are not updating

Yeah, I suspect stustunz is most likely correct. Timeouts on skys website or something similar caused your xmltv file to have no data in it, which results in GB-PVR being unable to retrieve any listings from the file.

How many channels and how many days are you scraping? I have 8 channels and 5 days and that works reliably (till the web sites get changed!). I used to have 7 days but was advised by Reven to try 5.

If I were you I would delete all data from the cache and resources folders (very important) then set for 5 days and try again.

I also on revens suggestion reduced mine to 5 days & also when updating to 2.5.03 set TV3 to sky_tv3 & now apart from most days having to run another update at about 8.00am to get the sky channels (I don't delete any cache) all is working fine.

Oops sorry didn't make myself very clear in my last message. I have update epg run automatically at 5.00am & then if it doesn't get tv3 or the sky channels I run it again from the built in epg update within pvrx2 (through the mvp)without clearing any cache at about 8.00am & it will then (79 times out of 80) get the missing data without me having to do anything else Big Grin
