Frequencies support for channel config

Maybe this has been asked before, but GBPVR would significally improve for dutch users (and probably other countries as well) if it allowed channel configuration on frequency.
Dutch channels are not on exact channel numbers, mostly just below or above (e.g. channel 6+ instead of 6, 42- instead of 42).

Would make life for the dutchies a lot easier

Have you seen Freqcopy? It was created for exactly this purpose.

Yes, I ran FreqCopy, but did not know what to do after it.
Finally I ran the Tuning Assistent and got my channels from there.
It's not criticism, it would just give GBPVR a bonus so more dutch users would start using it I guess. On other forums I read that dutch people (the ones that do not like to figure it out) tend to use MediaPortal because it does support frequency setup.

Instead of the channel number, just try typing in the frequency. This release should support it, but I didnt really get a chance to do much testing in this.

As a fellow Dutch user, I suggest you have a look at the TuningAssistent page in the Wiki. At the bottom of this page I added a section called "Semi-automatically specifying frequencies" which could be helpful.

Jan, thanks a lot for that!
Although I have the channels working now, I still have the feeling that they are just a little off, perhaps because the channels do not reflect the frequencies precisely (differs about 7500000 Mhz per channel...).

I'm gonna throw everything away, clean up the registry and try these tools you mentioned. Thanks!
