Hi Sub, you are correct the log reports getValue: /settings/TVShape : 4x3 and not 4:3 I did not manually edit the file and it is set to 16x9 in the config file. It is picked up correctly by the GBPVR.exe but NOT by the PVRx2.exe

Thanks to all for the comments and suggestions, I found my first issue which was using version 2.5.0.2 of revens app instead of the current 2.5.0.3. I am still seeing some really strange behaviour with respect to some channels seem to work consistantly when run on their own and not lumped with a load of channels, still working my way through the issue to try and get a consistant conclusion.

Cheers

Zip and attach you PVRX2.exe.log and PVRX2.exe-native.log and the config.xml and I'll take a look.

Myself and many others here are using widescreen TVs, so I'm sure you we would be seeing lots more reports if this was a problem.

Are you runnning on Vista?

Hi Sub,

You are a seriously early starter :-)

I suspect it is just a typo but here are the logs and config.xml you requested. If you happen to see a moronic setting in my config.xml which would be causing video display slow down let me know Smile being cheeky as its my birthday.Big Grin

I've just checked this. It is being incorrectly logged at startup (due to fact it was supposed to be "TvShape" not "TVShape"), but it doesnt do anything, so not something you need to worry about. It was just logged so I could see what the user had set the tv shape to when I looked in their logs.

The logic that actually uses this data from the config file occurs much later, and reads the correct "TvShape" data.
