It would be extremely helpful if there was a way to setup a channel range when setting up a capture source.

For those of us who split tuners between using a cable box and using the basic cable. So I'd be able to set 1 card to channels 1-99, and another from 100-999.

Then, no matter how the channel lineup changes, I don't need to reconfigure the sources at all.

you kinda can now, but you have to uncheck them manually...Smile
i use 1 epg source for all my epg needs, and uncheck the ch's not valid for a particular cap source..[i found an epg that has all my dish and locals in it]

now, granted it's quite a few to uncheck, but ya only have to do it once really..

alternatively, you can use a util called ReplChanList.exe to replace the channels list in the xml and make one with only the channels you want for each..it's fast and can be used from batches....[use same source .xml]

Yeah, I have a similar setup.

I wish this were true. I've had to re-load my EPG several times. And I have 3 captures sources, with 1000 channels... that's a hell of a lot of clicking. I'm needing to reload it again (some channels are screwy), but I have been putting it off for this very reason.

When I have to change channel sources away from Zap2It, I'll need to go through it again. If you could set a channel range, it would take 5 seconds Smile.

Thanks for the suggestion, but this seems to be a XMLTV util (I use Zap2It).
