I just installed gbpvr and i can't get it to watch livetv corectly i am using the hauppauge ver3 decoder.  the card works with wintv2000 it is a pvr250 and i am in the usa using antenna.  my mobo is a via epia m1000.

Please help see my attached file

Out of interest, can you record a program correctly? It would look like your channel is not tuned correctly, hav you tryed the tuning assistant?

it works with tuning assistant and it also works with recording a program.

i have tried the nvidia decoder and i get the same old problem

this sounds like a 250 driver problem.... search for scrambled in the forum

Try setting the "deinterlacer" setting on the misc settings page to something other than the "deinterlacer filter".

I had the exact same problem - thanks to this thread, I downloaded the 250 drivers & such - and now I have video!! Thanks guys.
For some reason though, now my remote won't work, and I have no audio - so more work to do...
I think when I put the new drivers in, something got deleted. Hmm..
S-Video out to NTSC TV
NF7-Sv.2 motherboard (SocketA) w/512 mb ram
XP-3000+ CPU - XP Home OS
eVGA fx5200 (video out)
PVR-250 (video in) - latest drivers
Nvidia DVD decoder (trial for now)

Hi,
About the remote not working, open the config app, on one of the tabs (I think the misc tab) there is a button to update the irremote.ini file. Probably when you updated all drivers, the irremote.ini file was overwritten. The button fixes that.

No audio... I don't know...

Sorry - I seem to have hijacked this post - but I did solve both my remote & audio problems by uninstalling & reinstalling GB-PVR. That's all it took. Thanks to all. Now back to the first guy's problem...
