And you can still use the old interface (GBPVR.exe), it's ~the same as 99.12 and very stable. It probably works better with all the older plugins, if you would want that.

Since the Tray Icon is now starting PVRX2 instead if GBPVR, would it still be possible to use the previous GBPVRTray.exe so that we can still use the tray to launch GBPVR.

I'm asking because I haven't gotten my new system yet, and the PVRX2 kind of slows the system a little bit.

Thanks,

- Ian
You could just rename PVRX2.exe to PVRX2.exe.SAVE, then rename GBPVR.exe to PVRX2.exe. Then, you would always launch the old interface from the icon.

Just a note to say what a great release PVRX2 is.
Finally took the plunge from 99.12, mostly unwilling to give up my xsearch plugin, but found that it works by creating the "legacy" folder etc.!

what can I do with this:
Code:
<Animations>
        <Animation name="SwitchScreen" type="FadeThrough" duration="300"/>
    </Animations>
???

Is there any way to have the menu NOT centered...?
You can never have enough tuners!

So simple, yet quite horribly intelligent!!!

Thanks.

I am a new user to GBPVR (getting ready to abandon Yahoo Go TV, as it will no longer have listings available from Zap2It). Just signed up for a Schedules Direct account yesterday and attempted to import EGP data from Schedules Direct. It immediately throws all sorts of XML errors. Has anyone else attempted this yet using version 1.0.16. I am getting a bit anxious about TV schedules not being available in either Yahoo Go TV or GBPVR. Sub, if you are monitoring this thread, were you able to actually test the Schedules Direct interface before it was included in version 1.0.16?

Thanks for your assistance.

Works fine for me. Have you tried emptying the epg first then updating?

Also remember you need the patch from the v1.0.16 survival guide thread.

Thanks Sub,

As a new user, I had not yet perused every one of the ongoing threads. I found the patch, replaced the DLL and my Schedule Direct downloads work now. If you have time, maybe you want to add this item to the intro thread for version 1.0.16. Might save having to answer this question again.

BTW, great program and your efforts are really appreciated.

Hey there,

This is my first time posting on this forum, normally I just google all my questions, but this one has me totally stumped. I tried to update from GBPVR version 99.12 straight to 1.0.16, but even after installing and uninstalling the old version, whenever I attempt to install 1.0.16 I keep getting a 1904 error saying that the PsiParser.ax failed to register and to contact the support personnel. I'd appreciate some help on this one as I have been pulling out my hair on it.
Thanks

PS. I hope this is the right thread to ask this question on
