You should not have to use the offset option at all. "+0000" is the default. The option is a leftover because I was using "UTC" and it was causing issues so the offset option was added so it could be overrdden to "+0000". Since then I have changed the default. Y! stores the times in UTC time so you should not hae to modify the offset.

Can I uninstall Yahoo Go For TV! after I do the first download of guide data? Or is it dependent on that SW every time yahooxmltv.exe downloads guide data?

Go for TV must remain installed as long as you use YahooXMLTv. YanooXMLTv does not actually download the data, it tells Go for TV to do it.
