Client mode - PlayVideo

running same version on all machines does work best
i found if you didnt strange things did happen

I doubt it works via streaming mode. since it's effectively calling for the video file directly. For streaming, I imagine sub does some "funky" stuff to chop bits of the file and send them via the tcp stack.
