Hi,

The Wiki is a great idea, but wouldn't it be good also to have documentation included with the GB-PVR install itself? or a downloadable PDF manual for quick reference?

Cheers Smile

Hi... Welcome to the forum. Too bad we're having trouble right now...

Sorry, but I doubt that this will ever happen. I suppose you could find a web ripper that will pull down the whole site so you could view it offline. But it would be a task I don't think anyone would take...

I remember there was talk about using the wiki software to make a PDF version all the pages into one 'book'. I don't know how far bladder_se (the wiki admin) got with it tho.

'Personal' copies of documentation (printed or downloaded) can become a problem when you have a system like gbpvr which is continually being developed - it quickly gets out of date...

Anyway, once you are up and running, you only need documentation when you are upgrading or adding a new plugin - the wiki and the forum will always have the most up to date stuff. Wink

You can get any wiki-trail in printable version by appending ?action=publish

e.g. http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Quick...on=publish

and in a way to see that full url:

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/ pmwiki.php/QuickStart/QuickStart?action=publish
