Does this epg application run on vista business?

I don't think the business or enterprise versions include MCE either, but as you said you can check on the start menu.

Media Center is included with Home Premium and Ultimate only.

The list provider button in the GUI gives me the send crash report to Microsoft error dialog.

After checking the debug check box I get this in the console after dismissing the dialog. Is this really the error or is something else crashing?

This occurs if you don't have all the windows updates applied. You can either run windows update or try the patch in http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...tcount=384

I'm currently converting the MCE guide successfully and processing it with the GUI for non-GBPVR use. I'd like to be able to force MCE to call for an update of the guide before the conversion. It looks like the GUI does have an option to do that, but I don't think it's doing it. To try to make sure, I've tried the command line MceEpgDownloader. It gives me this error: erstatus_dlddiscoveryservice. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I do not have GBPVR, but I'm not sure. I'm not familiar enough with how GBPVR works to know if the GUI or either command line prog uses any config files of GBPVR. I can run the GUI and the command line for the conversion process just fine. I would expect that MceEpgDownloader would just tell MCE (2005 in my case) to make its EPG update call, but does it want to see something having to do with GBPVR that causes the error above?

This utility does not interact with GB-PVR in any way. GB-PVR can use the output xml. Post an output of the error that is thrown.

With the error string empty, I'm not sure what's causing the error. What happens if you update the EPG in the MCE UI?

It comes back within 30 seconds or less and says guide was downloaded successfully. Looks like it works correctly in MCE.

On the GUI there's a button that says "get providers" and a window that says "0 providers available" I'm not sure what's supposed to be in there, but it doesn't look right to me.. As I said, the conversion works great and MCE is pulling the EPG regularly, so this is not critical. (I do appreciate your help though.)

I'm using a dual external USB tuner for MCE. Don't know if that makes any diff.
