No problem. There must be an issue in my logic code for duplicate handling. I will look into it when I get a chance. It may be a couple of weeks though. Until then, the excludes should work.

I don't find any errors in the v0.98.13 GBPVR logs that would indicate the EPG update routines had an error and failed.
The file gbpvr.db3 gets created when an update EPG is invoked. My MceEpg2XmlTv created .xml file is 17.9Meg and my gbpvr.db3 is 17.4Meg. I'm also confused about the include.txt and exclude.txt files in MceEpg2XmlTv... do I need to create an include.txt file that includes all the channels I want to include in the lineup? Thanks for your work on this EPG tool.

Nope. If you want all channels but one or two, don't use an include.txt but use a exclude.txt Pay special attention to the path the tool is expecting to see the config.ini, import.txt, export.txt When using the GUI, it takes care of the paths for you...

dennit Wrote:"List-headends" gives the same error that "list" did. Error output looks unchanged. I've got a software firewall on #3. It usually warns when it's blocking (it can stop code injection, some directory access etc.), but I'll check the logs and make sure it's disabled when I get real access. I've checked everything I can think of and I get the same errors no matter what I do. If it's just my system, I can live with it since the conversion from MCE to XMLTV works great. BTW, is there any way to find out when MCE does its automatic EPG update? I'd like to run my processing after that time if I can determine it.
