Now that Zap2It's free service is gone, I decided to dload the latest GBPVR and was hoping it had a replacement for Zap2It. In GB's config utility I saw the latest list of EPG choices. Since I already have a Vista Ultimate PC, I figured the MceEpg2XmlTv would be a great choice...
So I downloaded the latest MceEpg2XmlTv (0915) installer and ran setup.exe on my Vista PC, which has 2 working TV tuner cards. When I try to run setup, it first complains of a security issue, which I assume is just typical of Vista. So I click on the security dialog's [Continue] button and the installer continues. But the thermometer bar only gets to about 50% and stalls. The installers's dialog window's controls are still active, as I can click on [Install] again, change the default folder etc.
Any advice? Any prerequisites that I might be missing?
GBPVR will be running on a different PC (XP Pro) with a PVR150 tuner. I'm hoping that MceEpg2XmlTv will be able to save it Xml epg listings across my network to the target PC running GB...
Thanks!
