hi again guys - I'm just after a quick update cos I've been off the forums (and away from the PC) for a whole 6 months, so hopefully you'll indulge me with the answers to some probably-already-answered-questions before I upgrade....
the latest release sounds great, but I noticed a comment from sub about needing increased horsepower to run the front end. My main machine shouldnt have a problem, but is my P3 client likely to struggle?
If the above is going to be a problem, will a client run on 99.13 (the last release before I went AWOL) and still take all the info it needs from a server running the latest release?
Is a low CPU power release being maintained?
It sounds like the latest versions have had some major work done on them (all hail Sub!) so is there any thing else I might need to know (other than that held in the sticky and release notes) before I go for the 'big' upgrade?
thanks for indulging my lazyness.....
