I have released the 1.0 version of SchedulesDirect Utilities. This utility was cloned from the ZapTools utility that provided extended EPG data to EWA users.

I will be putting up a new release of EWA within a few days that will allow this new interface to work with EWA providing the same extended data that was available in the past.

You can download it from the wiki page or from here directly.

Source code is also available on the wiki at the bottom of the page or from here directly.

If you have any questions or problems please post in this Support Sub-Forum.

Would it be possible have the EWA extended information working with SD I-XMLTV package? ( http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/I-xmltvForSD ) This adds the * marker for first run which last time I checked ZapTools did not add the marker and wasn't compatable with the I-XMLTV package.

I am working on a tool I am calling XMLTVTools that will map XMLTv based input into the ExtendedEWA database wich would provide the extended data capabilities to XMLTv users.

Oz and I were briefly talking about a more general XML enhancer, that would store the data, and be used in either, custom screens in GB-PVR or the EWA....

Is it possible to take something like what you have and point it at the XML data from I-XML 4 SD or the mce2xml project?

I have an XMLTvTools project about ready to beta.....it should pull in XMLTv formatted files and load to the EnhancedEWA database just like SchedulesDirect Utilities.

Does this utility do more than the EPGExtra utility? I'm already using that with EWA, and it seems to be working fine.

Not really sure.....there are a couple of enhancers out there that add information to the EPG data itself that gets loaded into GBPVR. For EWA I went with something that does not muck with EPG data from the provider....it just provides what is in the EPG feed but not natively supported in GBPVR as well as the utility not touching anything inside GBPVR data structure.

Ok, I am sure I am missing something simple but I set SaveZap2itXML to true in config.xml, restarted the scheduling service and updated the EPG but I don't see any file in C:\ being created. I am running GBPVR 1.0.16. Is this version supported? Since that wasn't working I set UseGBPVR_XML to false and tried to run this utility but it just crashed. Any help would be appreciated.

One final question, I built the SchedulesDirect Utilities using Visual Studio Express. Is that acceptable?
