I only have one channel showing and it is not any of the 2 I have marked for my favorites. I have dumped the cache and xml file many times and it always downloads only 1 channel. I even changed the zipcode and same result.
Can someone please help

Make sure you first remove any channel info in the Config program. Run the Zap2xml and capture your channels. Then go back into Config and update the EPG. Don't worry about any channel order as it will get straightened out later.

zap2xml isn't marking new shows with a * per my UpdateEPG.bat

"c:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\zap2xml\zap2xml.exe" -u x@y.com -p zzz -d 14 -o tvguide.xml -A

I also found that if I have -o tvguide.xml at the end of the command line, then zap2xml always writes to xmltv.xml and not the filename I specified. I'm using the version that was available on http://zap2xml.110mb.com as of yesterday.

Another suggestion is to give it a version number, and have it output as the first string when the command line help is output. Makes it easier to identify what version you're using.
NPVR 4.1.0.180302 o Kodi 17.6 o EventGhost 0.5.0.rc4 o SAF 6.3.2 o SchedulesDirect

Ok, it's working now. I think the z2i website was a little screwy. To fix the single channel problem I had to log in and re-set the preferences, log out, log back in and make sure they were still set, then log out again, and not it's working fine.

The new -N option works great to get the program details for Book-TV which C-SPAN2 shows on the weekends.

If anyone is interested, the Book-TV program details are not updated until the Friday night before that Saturday/Sunday run.

So Adding -N (or -N 2) is the key!

-A requires a parameter like

-A "new"
-A "live"
-A "new live"

So when you use -A -o tvguide.xml the "-o" is being set as the parameter to -A.

Try
... -A "new live" -o tvguide.xml ...

I use the first method listed by pvruser. Yes, I am able to do exactly like you to get the epg updated. Then I have to go into GBPVR config to update the epg.

My problem is that I cannot configure GBPVR to run the EpgUpate at a certain time that I specified. What else do I have to change to make it work?

TIA.

I followed your first method it works if I run the .bat file, and update GBPVR myself. I do not understand what your statement here means. I have the .bat file in the zap2xml folder. What is the "main directory"? Is it gbpvr folder?

Thanks.
