That would be a GB-PVR thing. I don't know how or where to change it or if you even can, sorry.

Code: <channel id="28459256"> other than that, it's working great..

In the TV Guide I have channel # followed by call-sign on the left side. When I select a show to record, only the call-sign is displayed, not the channel #. Additionally when I review my recordings, they only have the call-sign, not the channel #. i believe <TVGuideChannelHeaderType>1</TVGuideChannelHeaderType> is the one you need to change...search for it to find out the meanings of 1,2,3 for options..

cool...excludes won't work cuz i need those channels..
also i noticed i don't get as much 'extra' info with ixmltv... was wondering if you could just add the 'renumber' function to the old cmdline version.. it works great with i-xmltv and i find much easier to setup for my funky 3 lineups.. thanx

pBS Wrote:cool...excludes won't work cuz i need those channels.. How are you able to get I-xmltv working with the output from MceEpg2xmltv? I thought it was broken because it wanted to work with three digit channel numbers, and the output changed to 4 digits... That's why I started to add some builtin enhancments with the GUI, starting with adding the original airdate to the description which is default in I-XMLTV... The New Show Marker was added by whurlston. Those are the only two enhancments that I wanted, but I know others want more features. I stopped including I-XMLTV in the GUI because it wouldn't work...

[that way no need to cross-ref the id's to know what channel a show entry is] it really enhances the usability of my guide.. i love the dates in the subtitles...for shows that have no episode details.. only way to know if it's a rerun...[Daily Show!]

The IDs are not made up. They are extracted from the MCE EPG database. They are actually a hashed version of the TMS ID but I didn't bother trying to decode the hash.

yea, wasn't a big fan of the way TMS uses those id's...not really a part of xmltv spec i don't think....their methods can be inconsistent at times..
got my first error today..easily fixed tho...the default I-xmltv.ini has # of actors at 99, which can make for too long lines in xml...set back to 9 and no problem.. [i'm pretty sure they're in order of importance, eg. lead actors, then supporting.] guess i'll stick with old version and the new one for digitals only...
