Hi i have been using GBPVR for some time with a pvr350 card, the experience has been totally flawless.
recently i have changed the card to the HVR4000 in order to be able to record DVB-S channels from Freeview.
in order to ensure success i started by building a clean machine with XPP sp2 on a p4 1.5Ghz Compaq D510 with 756Mb ram.
Then i registered the cyberlink mux files & installed the latest version of gbpvr.
end result is that the livetv stuuters, and whats worse, the recordings stutter, and stall after about 5 mins of recording. they do not report as failed, just "recording"

I have this problem as well, remember that Living channel recording I sent you sub...

My only solution was NOT using a mux and leaving as dvr-ms..which brings up issues for gbpvr client or mvps....

The next release has support for the mainconcept mux that works quite differently from the Cyberlink and ATI one, which might help.

i dont have the output here (i'm at work) but i'll post it tonight... to my recollection, it mentions the cyberlink ones.
i am using the MVP's so using dvr-ms may not be the best option...

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\MDMpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.1727

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer

Can you check if recordings go smoothly on the PC using the dvr-ms mux.
