I KNOW Sub doesn't do radio....
But there are a lot of us out here who do - if Sub doesn't have time to do it then maybe there is someone who could help out with the coding...?
Anyway...
I have played with DVB-T radio and it is almost there.
I manually added a DVB-T radio station to the channels / Source mapping tables. It played fine as 'live tv' (with a black screen obviously!), recorded with ^k & played back through 'recordings' OK. The mpg file also played in windows media player. The file was about 6MB for 5 minutes so 72MB / hour which seems OK. The EPG was even populated for the channel!
So it would seem straightforward to allow radio channels to be found on the scan and used through 'live tv' (I did find an option in config.xml something like 'ignoreradiochannelsonscan' but it didn't have any effect!).
As an extension we could have a DVB-T radio button (or integrate ALL radio feeds under one button?), but possibly better / more flexible would be to treat radio and TV channels as a separate 'groups' within the EPG and 'Live TV' so you would view just radio or just TV channels (or all channels if you wanted to!), An simple extension to this would allow other (user defined?) groups to be setup (eg Kids, Factual, Soaps) to save scrolling thorugh 70-100+ channels to fund the on you want!
At least in the UK a lot of the national radio stations (all the BBC national ones) are available through DVB-T so this might reduce the clamour for FM radio support!
(now I'm going to hit SAVE this time...!)
