This thread is making me laugh over and over again.....

BTW: Did the fish have any inside info on flyswatta's decoration abilities ?
Hmmm, this would give "a room with a view" a whole new meaning.

The wife had something to say about having a vat of mineral oil in the living room...

I often wonder what my apartment would look like if I was a bachelor. I'm thinking it would be something like the office from the tv show "The IT Crowd".

Then again, maybe not since I would probably be fully engaged at trying to get various women to pass time there - Big Grin

I think the best solution is probably to have a big enough house so I could setup a "man cave" (usually a garage or basement).

A friend of mine has a great one. A garage with a fully disassembled Trans Am, comfy seating for up to 8 guys, cable tv, air conditioning, two PC's with high speed access, a full size refrigerator and enough greasy tools and car parts lying around to keep the women away. A true oasis!

how much money would you like to throw out the window? remember, you'll need > 5 gallons Wink
what you've found is a coolant for a liquid-based cooling solution using pipes & pump Wink
if you still want to spend over 800$ for the mineral oil just tell me, i'll PM you my paypall account & you'll get free shipping worldwide Big Grin

Don't worry, I'm aware that it's for a liquid cooling system and I wasn't planning on using 5 gallons. (I had a different container in mind.) It's a moot option now though. I had 4 hours to get the computer off the living room floor yesterday before my wife's friend came over so I had to run out an pick up an HTPC case. There went the money for my project. Sad

Funny I run across this thread. I currently have my PVR in pieces, in the basement. I just picked up a fish tank today. I should have it all together soon. The Wife loves the idea! I am currently looking for a good price on a crap load of Mineral Oil. I will keep you all posted.
