i've just tested the new version. and it seems to be running very good.
The only thing i couldn't test was the "Set show list for recommendations". What do you mean by this? (could not find out in first short test)

And then i've found two small bugs in the skinning things you add (thanks for adding them).
1. Somehow you mixed loc and size on CurrentValueElement. You use loc as size and vice versa.
2. If you change the height of the KeyboardKeyElement only the rectangles will change their size but the spacing between the lines stay as it is. (With the width it's working perfectly)

i will fix the skinning bugs. I have your other list as well. The set show list for recommendations is a hook into the Fast find for other plugins, used by xrecord today.

Jorm or whomever it may concern,
 If I wanna modify the FastFind plugin to be LCARS-themed (heavy focus on modifying the keyboard), what all would be involved.  I'd pretty much be using my own pre-made images for the keys, I think, rather than dynamically drawing them.  Lemme know what you think, if you don't mind  I hope it wouldn't come to modifying actual code (other than the xml file). Do you think I can get around that? Thanks!

Let me take a look at it and see what we can do.

tipstir drawing a few images doesnt take up that much time, using composite images for the keys would be a huge benefit, currently this plugin you cant skin it all that well, it still looks like the blue skin just with different colours. if you use composite images and make things more dynamic, once they are in memory they are drawn pretty quick and it looks better. also this is the reason why i havent skinned it for media experience yet.

Hi,
I was a heavy user of fastfind, however since a while, I cannot use it anymore. I've tried removing the entire fastfind directory and reinstalling fastfind (from the link above). Everytime when selecting a found show, I get an error reference not set...

This is both with the red sky skin and the media experience skin...

Any clues?

Are you running at least version v23? What version are you running? Can you email the logs to jared_dubin at hotmail.com
