Hi,
When I first read about the mvpmc some time ago, I understood that this could give me WOL, but also it seemed experimental and complicated to set up, so I stayed away from it.
Today, I decided to give it another try, and wow, loading the mvpmc dongle was really a piece of cake. It was a bit more tricky to get the config file for autostarting emulation mode and WOL working, but I finally succeeded.
The result looks great. First of all there is this Wake on Lan, which will make my wife & kids really happy. (I am already ). I also notice the remote reacts much snappier now. I hope that it also will prove to be stable.
Wouldn't it be time for an entry in the wiki? The posts with most crucial information are sticky, but you need to browse through the forum to even understand what mvpmc could mean for a gbpvr user. Also the part on making the share (on the mvpmc wiki) could be more dummy proof.
