Movie List

Im having issues getting the dvdlist progto work. The html page has javascript errors.

Does the Movie List let you start playing the selected movie?

I didn't write this plugin so cant help you myself, but I'm sure Jorm (the author) will be able to help out.

The dvdlist program you need to click on the register.bat file that will register the activex plugin.


The plugin will not allow you to play the movie from there, but give you information on the movie and a picture. It is used for organizing your movie collection.

I did do the register.bat. No luck. Im on XP Pro.

Is there a way you could add a play button? That would be ideal to play from that screen. Im guessing the GBPVR exports some sort of play function to its plugins? Also is the source code available?

i'm working on a plugin with this functionality. i had to learn a lot in the last few weeks, but now i have time and can finish this plugin.

so if you want to wait a few weeks...

Things I'd like to see in it are: grouped by genre, movie poster, plot etc and a play button

forget the group by genre - function for the first release....but the play-button, poster and plot are included.

this grouping-function is a nice feature, i will try to implement it in the future.

Yea, what I envision is someone can sit down, and either start by genre and drill down to find a movie, or start on the alphabetical list. WIll make a very nice Video on Demand system.
