after looking at the skin, seems the ListView_Folder.png never gets referred to in list mode, just the folder.jpg...changed in baseskin.xml and works now.
looks like problem with skin plugin, not baseskin..

as for the burndvd2 plugin, it looks like skin broke it for some reason..
even the old version 1 still works, but new one just blinks and returns to main menu..[burndvdx2]

skin files are in the dir. and same as come with plugin..
any help appreciated..

There may be a few skinning tweaks needed to get that straightened out. Bump this thread Thrusday-Friday-ish. I may be able to give it a quick go at it.

The old community skin XRecord suite files are completely incompatible with PVRX2. I really would have to rewrite the whole thing. There is currently another post where there is some skinning discussions going on with Xrecord, and Fla is making changes. Maybe once the dust settles it will be easier to convert over.

The red "X" is from the image name not being found. We changed some image names and that is what the problem is with that.

Can't promise much, but my football season ends next weekend. You migh see around more often..

I am getting an error using the community skin with PVRX2 when I go to the video library page. When I try to open on of the configured folders it throws a JIT error and I have to ctrl-alt-del to get out of it. This is the log file that is created:

The MMC.xml is the WelltonWay button grid XML file that PVRX2 is looking for.
But that should not cause any problems if it not exists.
But perhaps you want notice the new image names that PVRX2 will look for if they exists. No need to specify these names in the skin files.

That was the full log. I cleaned out my logs and recreated the problem. That was all that was there.

What would be causign PVRX2 to error out? The images it is looking for?

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that those named folder images will automatically be displayed in the composite image, without them being declared.

Are they CommonImages then and displayed at 100%, how else do they get their size and position?

I haven't played around with that yet, but that may be an interesting undocumented development.

I don't get that problem, nor the errors in the logs. Does anyone else?

I am curious about the mmc.xml and images part of the log.

McBainUk's comments sound like he has seen this type of error message before and it makes me feel I am missing a patch that may have added something. I should have time tomorrow to catch up on patches, I will see if I can recreate the problem and possibly get some update out.

Here is my Video Library skin. It is pretty much the original from Sub.
TaskImages are stored in .\_TaskImages (no more copying files around)
video-folder.png, video-file.png ...etc, are stored in _CoreImages
These hardcoded image names are shown by Subs @folderpreview strings
Just drop those image files into _coreimages and remove your added strings.
Thats what I have done.

There is a bug, that causes a crash in iconview, if there are just 4-5 folders and if you press Page Down in icon view. Might be that bug he is experiencing.
