I keep running into a strange problem with audio in my recordings.

There is NO sound on my Reoccuring Recordings;
My manual recordings have sound but not in sync with the video;
Live TV comes out perfect.

If I run BDA Mux checker, it shows no multiplexer. I've always had that problem despite using Intervideo, ACE Codecs Megapack, and even Cyberlink PowerDVD for a while. Do I need to download something? Please help.

My system details:

GBPVR 1.0.16
Win XP Pro
Pentium D 3.2Ghz
2GB mem
Realtek HD audio
Angel USB Tuner (Dell)
ATI Radeon X850 XT
Intervideo WinDVD
USB-UIRT
Almost a Terabyte of Hard Drive space

A mux isnt used with an analog device, so you dont need to worry about this.

If you run the Tuning Assistant, do you get audio on all your channels?

I ran Tuning Assistant.
Yes, I have audio on all channels in Live TV mode. Or do you mean while running Tuning Assistant? If so, there is no video or audio output while scanning. Just an annoying popup everytime it finds a channel.

I tried another manual recording, but this time there was no sound.
Last time there was sound but it wasn't in sync with the video.

If its fine during live tv, then its probably just the decoders you're using. Try playing one of the recordings in another player lik VLC to see if there is audio.

What audio decoders have your tried on the playback tab?

I have several listed

Realtek HD Audio Output (Currently set)
Direct Sound: Realtek HD Audio
Direct Sound: SB Audigy 4 (Sound card is disfunctional)
SB Audigy 4

If I have it set to system default, there is no sound even is Live TV.
I tried setting it to Direct Sound: Realtek HD Audio
Result was no sound on the recording, but Live TV was okay.

Those are the audio renderer. I mean the audio decoder setting.

Hey!

I tried playing the recording is WMP11, and there was still no sound.
But when I opened it in Intervideo WinDVD, it played perfectly!

How should I have it configured so that it plays back in PVRX2?
Or do I have to play all my recordings in WinDVD?

As I suspected then, its just the audio decoder you're using. Try a different one.

Decoder is set to System default.

The only other option is MPEG Audio decoder.

I tried that but got the same result.
